Apple has launched its latest upgrade to iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The latest iPhone 13 Pro Max houses the new Apple A15 Bionic chipset based on the 5 nm architecture. Which is the fastest chipset in any phone to date. iPhone 13 Pro Max like the iPhone 13 Pro is equipped with an extra powerful GPU that has five cores instead of four. The only concern here is that its GPU is quick to throttle and the user could certainly use better-sustained performance. However, this doesn’t stop it from providing the user with reliable performance and possibly the best lag-free gaming experience.

iPhone 13 Pro Max packs 6 GB of RAM & gives four storage options to choose from. A 128 GB option, a 256 GB option, a 512 GB & a 1TB option. All these options are non-expandable.

iPhone 13 comes with iOS 15 out of the box. This new device is built around a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display protected by a scratch-resistant ceramic shield. The phone offers 1284 x 2778 pixels with a Full HD+ resolution. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has an adaptive refresh rate. Games can’t fully utilize it just yet but apart from that, the feature works very well. The panel features a vibrant display compliant with Dolby Vision is HDR10 certified.

The phone packs a massive 4352 mAh battery which is the biggest one that Apple has ever put in an iPhone. The new device comes with a fast-charging system paired with a wireless charging feature. The device offers a stellar battery life that is most likely to survive a day or two on heavy usage. However, the iPhone 13 Pro Max doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

In terms of optics, the biggest update with the iPhone 13 Pro Max must be its cameras. All three rear cameras have been improved. The 12 MP sensor has larger pixels than before. The 12 MP telephoto now has optical 3X zoom & 12 MP ultra-wide. Only the 12 MP selfie camera is the same as before. In iPhone 13 Pro Max Apple has introduced a cinematic mode feature on its main & selfie camera. Although the cinematic mode still needs a lot of work, we think that Apple is onto something big here.

The build here is nothing short of premium, the iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with a stainless steel frame & a corning glass back. It has the same shape & design as iPhone 12  except for the smaller notch at the top center, for face ID & selfie camera. The iPhone 13 Pro is IP68 certified.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max certainly comes with some impressive revisions. Performance-wise the iPhone Pro Max is way ahead of its Android competition. If you have an iPhone older than the iPhone 12 Pro or are willing to switch to iOS from Android, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max will be a great switch.
