PCB Managing Director, Wasim Khan says:

5:20 pm:

Ehsan Mani, chairman of PCB, takes the stage for the opening speech. He says that fans are the real MVP of the Pakistan Super League.


5:15 pm:

The PSL 2020 draft is here! First of three platinum players pick about to begin soon. Quetta Gladiators have the first pick.

Official: Sarfaraz Ahmed has been retained as Quetta Gladiators’ captain for PSL 2020.


4:53 pm:

Moin Khan claims that Misbah-ul-Haq should have thought about the conflict of interest himself and shouldn’t have agreed for the Islamabad United head coach role.

Saqlain Mushtaq claims that Ali Tareen has a very positive mindset regarding cricket. He wants us to groom spinners and other youngsters from grassroots and give them a fair opportunity.

4:35 pm:

It seems that Peshawar Zalmi will be announcing a new captain for their PSL 2020 campaign. Their owner, Javed Afridi said:

The captaincy of Peshawar Zalmi will be kept a surprise for a little while longer.


4:31 pm:

Javed Afridi says that Peshawar stadium construction could not be completed in time, which is why it has not been included as a venue for PSL 2020.


4:20 pm:

Karachi Kings have retained Imad Wasim as captain whereas Babar Azam has been named the new vice-captain of the franchise.


The drafting session will be aired live on Geo Super at 4:45 pm while the major updates from the event will be updated here.

The draft is being held in Lahore and Quetta Gladiators, defending champions will have the first pick.
