The University of Haripur has approved the launch of two new undergraduate programs in Medical Sciences on Wednesday
According to a press release issued by the university, the decision to launch Bachelor of Eastern Medicines and Surgery and Bachelor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics programs was made in the 7th meeting of its Board of Studies.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anwarul Hasan Gilani said that the University of Haripur is a pioneer in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for introducing an innovative Bachelor’s program in Eastern Medicines and Surgery. He added it is the only higher education institution that is offering a Ph.D. program in Medical Laboratory Sciences in the entire country.
The meeting also concluded with the decision to slightly modify the schemes of studies of the BS, M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs in Public Health.
