Shahid Afridi and Wasim Akram to Feature As Star Players in NCL

The National Cricket League (NCL) in the USA is set to ignite excitement in Dallas this October with a star-studded lineup of cricket legends like Wasim Akram and Shahid Afridi.

Az Qasmi, CEO of the NCL, announced that the league will host a thrilling series of matches from October 4 to 14 at the UTD Dallas Cricket Ground.

Cricket enthusiasts can look forward to seeing international cricket icons such as Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram, Shahid Afridi, and Sir Viv Richards in action.

Other renowned players, including Mohammad Nabi, Shakib Al Hasan, and Angelo Mathews, will also grace the field, ensuring a high-caliber showcase of the sport.

Qasmi described the NCL as more than just a sporting event. “It’s a fusion of cricket and entertainment,” he said, highlighting the daily performances by top South Asian artists like Mika Singh, Javed Ali, and Shibani Kashyap.

Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere where sport meets culture, providing an engaging experience for the South Asian community and cricket fans alike.

“This is a unique opportunity for cricket lovers in the U.S. to witness their favorite stars up close,” Qasmi added. The event promises to draw attention not only for its cricket action but also for its celebration of music and entertainment, making it a must-attend occasion for sports and culture enthusiasts.

The league will bring entertainment and unite cricket legends to the field again who once played the sport together in their prime.
