The best of what Nokia has to offer is finally here in Pakistan. Nokia 6 is now officially available across the country for Rs. 27,900.
Originally revealed at Mobile World Congress at Barcelona Spain, the phone was an instant hit among the fans. It will be available in retail as well as online stores from today.
Design and Display
Even though the phone itself is mid-range in terms of specifications and price, it doesn’t look or feel like one. Made out of a single block of 6000 series aluminium, Nokia 6’s weight and craftsmanship is a far cry from its price. The phone also features Dolby Atmos sound enhancement for high quality audio.
It features a 5.5″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 403 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the front of the phone. A fingerprint sensor at the front of the phone is flanked by the recent and back buttons respectively.
Nokia 6 aced scratch, bend and burn tests, proving to be quite durable. In addition, it beat out its legendary ancestor the Nokia 3310 in drop tests as well. All in all it is a well designed phone.
Internals and Storage
Nokia 6 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a staple of mid-range phones. It features 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. A limited edition, Arte black version of Nokia 6 was also released (not officially available in Pakistan yet) with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
A hybrid microSD/second SIM card slot helps extend the storage capacity by up to 256 GB.
The OS is a slightly customized version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Camera and Battery
The smartphone includes a 16 MP f/2.0 sensor with phase detection autofocus and a dual LED flash. The front camera uses an 8 MP sensor. Both cameras can record video at up to 1080p resolution and not 4K due to chipset limitations.
As for the battery, a 3,000 mAh battery unit keeps the phone running. Nokia 6 supports fast charging and can easily last you through a day and a half of average use.

Good Phone But Price less than PKR 22,000
@AbdulWAHABAlam:disqus the price will surely come down by 2-3k within weeks as the competitors have already captured the market and Nokia doesn’t have anything very special to offer than its branding. Huawei, Xiaomi and Qmobile are the Kings now – Nokia should have thought that before prior diving into Android world in Pakistan!
Assalam o Alaikom
