Mushkin – a Texas-based company specializing in computer storage – has unveiled a new range of SSDs which come at an affordable price. The series is dubbed Source and uses cost-efficient 3D TLC NAND memory to reduce prices to as low as $39.
So far, Mushkin’s Source drives come in three different sizes – 120 GB, 250 GB, and 500 GB, however, the company has promised a 1 TB variant in the future.
Entry-level Specs
The drives use a familiar SATA interface for easy usage alongside most desktops and newer laptops. The M.2 variants are expected to be launched sometime in April.
The 3D TLC NAND memory comes from an undisclosed manufacturer, although, the Source drives use Silicon Motion’s SM2258XT controllers.

how is it click bait? please tell how the title was misleading for you.
From the name of the website and the title of article, its really easy for someone to be mislead into thinking that it has been launched in Pakistan. Click Bait. Its a usual thing now with ProPakistani.
now thats interesting… finally my ps3 loading game time will reduce lil bit
How is it low cost? So 1Tb will be around 220 USD which is the same price offered by many Chinese SSD Manufacturers like KingSpec and KingFast and so on search on AliExpress I I imported one last year and its working great with writes around 460 and reads around 500!
There is difference between Chinese local manufacturers and established brands. You won’t find 1TB of SSD from WD, Corsair or Samsung at $220.
How much tax/duties did you pay on import of SSD?
Can we buy it in Pakistan?
