Multan Sultans PSL 2024 squad is one of the most exciting one’s in the tournament. Mohammad Rizwan will once again be tasked to lead the side as they aim to win their second PSL title and equal Islamabad and Lahore’s tally of 2 titles each
Multan have been one of the most active franchises in PSL’s trade window as they secured the services of Iftikhar Ahmed and Faisal Akram even before the PSL 2024 draft. Adding to that, Multan secured the services of Davd Willey, Reece Topley, Chris Jordan and Reeza Hendricks as they filled their squad with T20 superstars from England and South Africa
Multan will be looking to qualify for their fourth consecutive final and win their first title since PSL 6.
Multan had a solid PSL 9 draft as they brought in a host of local and foreign stars to provide some solid stability to the squad.
Multan’s batting unit looks solid with the likes of Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Dawid Malan, Reeza Hendricks, Khushdil Shah and Tayyab Tahir in their ranks. They also have the services of exciting young talents of Usman Khan and Yasir Khan in their team.
Furthermore, their bowling unit is one o fthe best in the tournament with bowlers such as David Willey, Reece Topley, Chris Jordan, Shahnawaz Dahani, Abbas Afridi, Faisal Akram and Usama Mir. Multan will be hoping their ace pacer, Ihsanullah recovers from injury in time for PSL 9 in order to provide the X-Factor to the squad.
Mohammad Rizwan will be tasked to lead the side to their first title since PSL 6, with Abdur Rehman coming in as the head coach in place of Andy Flower for PSL 9. Multan Sultans match will include home and away fixtures, with Multan Cricket Stadium being the home stadium of the franchise. Multan Sultans fixtures will include a total of 10 matches, playing 2 games against each team in the tournament.
